In this edition of the Love the Lea e-news
  • Love the Lea at the Crate Brewery 29th May
    Thames21 will be at the Crate Brewery, Hackney Wick, hosting an evening of fun by the riverside from 5pm. Come on and join us while we celebrate Thames21's 10th Anniversary and enjoy a cool 'Love the Lea' beer
  • Glenbrook SUDS underway
    Creation of the first of the Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in the Salmons Brook Healthy River Challenge got underway from this week. 
  • Swans suffer on polluted river
    Recent pollution on the Pymmes Brook has caused a lot of problems for wild birds. 76 swans had to be rescued by the Swan Sanctuary after their feathers were badly oiled. Photo credit The Swan Sanctury
